Whitworth Cyclocross
Presented by Inland Empire Racing
What Is Cyclocross?
Cyclocross is a fun and physically demanding type of bicycle racing. Expect to ride on mixed surfaces such as gravel, sand, and asphalt. The course will include tight turns, hills, and obstacles such as low barriers (12–14 inches high) to hop over. The race will keep your heart rate up and your bike-handling skills on point.
Course
The race will take place on a marked, closed course in Whitworth University's Back 40 area. Any nonmotorized bicycle with tires wide enough for dirt, gravel, and trails is allowed. The course will be designed for cyclocross bikes, but gravel and mountain bikes are also welcome. The final course layout is to be determined.
This is a non-USAC event; no license is required.
